The first thing almost anyone will tell you about UltraMixer is that it has a nice variety of features, but the installation process makes it very difficult to justify staying with the program. It has one of the lengthiest installation processes of any program of its kind and many users openly complain about it, even as they endure it and continue to use UltraMixer.
So why do people stick with the program? The answer is that DJs often like its simplicity. It has two channels to use, a nice mixer, and a full library where you can store all of your original creations. Sound settings are also rich and varied. You'll find a crossfader and equalizer as well as many other sound effects to get your party started right.
You can save your original tracks in the handy library and it's all free to do so. The price tag of course is one of the major reasons people stick with the program. For free, you can actually make some decent music with UltraMixer.
